Last semester, my science class made a small garden behind the school building. Our teacher divided students into several groups, and my group planted tomatoes and peppers. First, we removed many stones from the ground and carried heavy bags of soil. It was harder than I expected. My responsibility was giving water to the plants every Monday and Thursday. Sometimes, I forgot it because I had other homework. Also, some insects ate the leaves, so our plants became weak. We searched information on the internet and made a natural spray with soap and water. After one month, small tomatoes began to grow. They were not very big, but we were excited. This activity taught me that plants need much patience and attention.
