In this summer, I worked at a small coffee shop near my house. It was my first part-time job, so I was very nervous in the beginning. My main works were taking orders, cleaning tables, and making simple drinks. I often confused the menu names and gave wrong cups to customers. The manager was strict, but she taught me how to work more carefully. One day, many people came at the same time, and I could not remember all orders. My coworker helped me and showed a better way to organize them. After several weeks, I became faster and more confident. I also learned how difficult service jobs are. Although I was tired every evening, I felt proud when I received my first salary.
